circumstances? Do you have experience as a driver? Can you handle the planning and management of transporting VIPs? Do

Your role
As a driver within the official garage, you will:
provide transport of VIPs and staff in Strasbourg and the surrounding region or on long-distance journeys in France and
abroad;
plan the routes and ensure the safety of the people transported;
take part in the on-call periods for the garage;
manage the equipment assigned to the garage and the documents necessary for the accomplishment of the mission;
provide routine vehicle maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs, regular inspection of maintenance equipment
and consumable parts.
You may be required to work outside normal working hours, including at night, on weekends or on public holidays and
may be required to travel for several consecutive days.

What we are looking for
You must:
have held a category B driving licence (or recognised as equivalent to the French B licence) for at least five years and
not be subject to any driving restrictions;
have a minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience as a driver of VIPs or as a safety driver;
have a minimum of 1 year of proven professional experience in the field of private or public security;
have a good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the
knowledge of the other (English/French);
be a citizen of one of the member States of the
service of that state;
have discharged any obligation concerning national service (military, civil or comparable);
not be the parent, child, stepchild or grandchild of a serving staff member of the

not have previously been employed by the
profile/Turnover Workforce Scheme (see conditions below).

You will be required to undergo a medical examination authorising you to drive and have a clean criminal record.
What we offer
If successful, you may be offered employment based on a renewable fixed-term contract for a maximum total duration of
four years at grade C3. In Strasbourg, you will receive a basic monthly gross salary of €3 221 which is exempt from national
income tax. This salary may be supplemented by other allowances depending on your personal situation and you will be affiliated
to a
(including flexible working hours, training and development, possibility of teleworking if applicable, etc.).
This competition is carried out in accordance with Article 4110 of the Staff Rule on Entry into Service. Staff recruited under
this article are not eligible for any subsequent internal competition or secondment, nor shall they be re-appointed under the
Scheme. They can nevertheless participate in external recruitment competitions carried out in accordance with Article 490 of
the aforementioned Staff Rule. You can consult the conditions of employment (salaries, allowances, pension scheme, social
